My mom and sister came from Alaska for a visit last week. My mom wanted to see Yosemite Valley so we headed around the mountains from Reno and camped in the valley. We were just in time for a winter storm to blow in and bring some unusually cold temps (for April) and some snow squalls. The Alaskans weren’t too happy about the crummy weather as they’d had enough already this winter, Anchorage just broke their snow-fall record.
It cleared on our last night and I was able to make some landscape photos using the full moon as light.
This weekend I’ll be headed to Mammoth to shoot two weddings with Brandon. It’s looking like were in for some more snow, hopefully we get the dramatic light portion and not the blowing snow part! Mammoth Mountain weddings are always a blast, look for some photo updates on those next week.
Thanks and have a great day.
