Bishop California Wedding Photography with Mark and Casey, Part 2

Here is the second set from Mark and Casey’s Bishop, California wedding on Saturday.

Josh covered most of the details in his post here but I have to say that The Best Western Creekside Inn, where the bride and bridesmaids got ready, was an incredible surprise. Bishop isn’t exactly a destination for swanky lodging, but the promenade along the creek in the backyard of the Creekside Inn was incredible.

Another highlight worth mentioning was the reception site, Serventi Villa. Most of the evening took place in the spacious backyard of this incredible house just off of Highway 395. I suppose you might call the style Eastern-Sierra Tuscan. The vine-laced veranda and elegant gardens were very southern European, but the massive evergreen in the middle of the dance floor and snow-capped peaks to the east and west remind you that this is still the California high desert.

We’ve got Crazy Cam Photo Booth shots coming up from Mark and Casey soon. Check Facebook for that.

This was our last wedding until 11/11/11 in Lake Tahoe. We’ve both been shooting a lot of engagement sessions, families and seniors lately too, so keep posted for some of those.
