Dan and Candice are a local Mammoth couple that I’ve gotten to know quite well through the process of their wedding planning.
We did two engagement sessions this year, one on skis and snowboards on the mountain and another in Bishop last month. During this process we’ve come to hang out a lot so it was awesome being able to spend the day with new friends on such an intimate level.
We met the ladies at Blazing Shears salon in Mammoth and then went down to their house south of town to meet the guys.
From there we all moved on to Convict Lake to add some finishing touches before the lake side ceremony.
A huge gust of wind began just as the ceremony began, and a bald eagle caught the gust and soared right over the wedding party. I didn’t get any shots of it, but it was pretty incredible.
After the ceremony Josh and I took them down to the north side of the lake for some photos with the beautiful Convict Lake surroundings in the background and then we made it back just in time for cocktail hour and the announcement of the bridal party.
Dinner was fantastic, the party got crazy (check out the pole dancing) and everybody had a great evening.
That’s it for the week. We finished up the wedding season last weekend in Santa Monica with Adam and Adrienne. We’ll post from their wedding soon. Have a great weekend.
