Scott and Laura’s wedding at Convict Lake in September was the first of our true fall weddings.
We love autumn weddings, especially at places like Convict Lake where the foliage adds a colorful dynamic that doesn’t happen in most places throughout the summer.
Josh came down from Reno to shoot this with me, and we had a blast with Scott and Laura, and their friends and family, both human and canine.
We started the day in Mammoth with our favorite wedding hair and makeup stylist, Carrie G.
When the ladies were done at Carrie’s, we met Josh and videographer Jason Cheesborough, along with Scott and the guys at one of the sweet Convict Lake cabins to finish prepping for the day.
The beach ceremony on the south side of the lake followed, and then Scott whisked Laura off in a boat to have a moment on the lake by themselves. Much like Britney and Jon this summer, it was an awesome way to wrap up the ceremony.
Next the shindig moved down to Convict’s tent, where they partied until they couldn’t party anymore. They had s’mores, a photo booth, and some radical dance moves. Check it all out below.
We’ll post some shots from their photo booth soon on Facebook.
It was an amazing wedding, which we knew it would be beforehand when we persuaded them to do this skiing engagement session at Hole-in-the-Wall on the back of Mammoth.
Scott and Laura were an amazing couple to work with–easy going and ready for anything, as well as organized, dedicated and creative as only a lawyer and an artist could be. Thanks guys!
