I met up with Zach, Tara, Aria and Oscar for a family photo session at Millpond Park near Bishop a few weeks ago and here is a sample of what we got.
They were in Mammoth skiing man-made snow for the weekend, so a stop in Bishop worked out well as they traveled back to Los Angeles.
Apparently Oscar was already getting restless in the back of the car because as soon as we settled in for the first picture, he was ears-deep in the pond chasing ducks. There’s no better way to ensure a stinky car ride home than a golden retriever in Millpond. Oscar executed to perfection.
We strolled around several parts of the park and found some fantastic late-afternoon light.
Aria was fascinated by the park–the ducks, the leaves, the swings, the slide, the galloping dog–it was great to watch her absorb it all.
We managed to find some of the last fall foliage in the Owens Valley as well and made some cool portraits around it.
That’s all for this week. We just hooked up with a last-minute wedding on Mammoth Mountain next week, which is a nice surprise. Check back in the next few weeks for that.
