About a month ago, Jeff, Lindy and I spent a chilly morning doing some engagement shots for their July, 2011 wedding.
They were champs. I think it was about 35-degrees out around the back of Horseshoe Lake, above Mammoth. I wore several layers including a puffy jacket and a beanie. Jeff and Lindy weren’t so lucky–especially Lindy. But it paid off and we got some great shots.
We started at Horseshoe Lake, then stopped at Lake Mary on the way to the Old Mammoth Meadow.
Josh and I are stoked to shoot their wedding. The ceremony will be at the serene Forest Chapel at Twin Lakes, and then we will ride the gondola up Mammoth Mountain for the reception at the Parallax (AKA McCoy Station, AKA Mid Chalet). It’s going to be a blast.
That’s it for now, but check back in very soon for some family portraits Josh shot in Reno this week, as well as another Mammoth Lakes engagement session I shot at Convict Lake and near Hot Creek. Lots of good stuff on the way!
