Here is the first set of images from Kyle and Amanda’s wedding last weekend at the Nevada Museum of Art in Reno.
The wedding party was fantastic, the venue was a photographer’s dream, and the weather could not have been better.
The Nevada Museum of Art is absolutely an up-and-coming wedding locale in Reno. The deck, which overlooks Reno’s verdant southwestern quadrant and snow-capped Mt. Rose, is as scenic a wedding spot as you’ll find in Reno. The color, lines and sculpture around the interior of the building are easy access to an amazing aesthetic. And the ground-level exterior speaks for itself (see above). Krista, the wedding coordinator from Cafe Musee and The Cheese Board, ran a tight ship and had the day’s events choreographed to perfection.
Speaking of choreography, Kyle and Amanda’s tango to start off the party was one of the highlights of the evening.
Once again, we set up our photo booth (Crazy Cam!) at the back of the reception, and it was a huge hit. There is something about the combination of an open bar and a camera on a tripod that brings out everybody’s subconscious desire to model. I’m not sure what it is, but I think it really adds a fantastic dynamic to the wedding photos.
