A few weeks ago Jamie, Nicole, Fiona, Cabot and I went out to the aspens near the base of Laurel Mountain for a family portrait session.
We wanted fall colors and we got them just about right. This is a spot I pass often while driving south from Mammoth Lakes on Highway 395, and it turned out to be a great spot to get a dynamic collection of shots.
Fiona and Cabot, as well as their dog Heidi, had a great time in front of the camera and we were able to catch some fun moments. We climbed around in the aspens for a while, and then went out into the flat lands to catch the sunset.
On the way out, we stopped on a cool rock outcropping for some shots that Jamie aptly described as the “rock band” shot. The name was fitting because, as the pictures show, Fiona and Cabot are sure to be rock stars of some sort in the near future.
That’s all for this week. We’ve got more seniors and families on the way, as well as the 11/11/11 wedding with Dave and Mariah in Incline which we are stoked for. Check back Tuesday.
