I met up with the Mitchell family after one of Mammoth’s early-season storms to make some family portraits in the snow.
We found some awesome spots to shoot near Shady Rest Park, just south of town. That spot gave us cool pine-shaded light, as well as vistas of Mammoth Mountain, Bloody Mountain, and pretty much everything else in this basin. It was a super fun photo session and the kids did great and were well equipped for the cold, which is key.
That’s all for this week. We’re filling up the wedding schedule now so if you’re getting married next summer and need a wedding photographer in Mammoth, Tahoe or Reno, now is the time!
Have a great rest of the week and celebrate this snow we’re getting because it’s better late than never. Thanks!
