Happy New Year! We hope you all had a great NYE and that you’re enjoying this spring weather in January.
Sandy and Michelle met me up at the Mammoth Lakes Bluffs a few weeks ago for their senior portraits and here are some images from that afternoon.
It’s challenging to find new locations for these senior photos but I think we found some winners both in the cabins at the turn-off to the Bluffs from Old Mammoth, and at the overlook above the Snowcreek Golf Course.
It’s not an entirely new spot to us, we did Jeff and Lindy’s formal session there after their Twin Lakes wedding last July, but it’s a different take and a different season so I thought it’d work well.
The two girls were hilarious to work with. They both had wildly divergent personalities but are great friends and that dynamic played out in front of the camera. It’s also tough to make bad photos with such a cool and dramatic backdrop.
That’s all for Tuesday’s post. We’ll be back Thursday with shots from Craig and Jennifer’s Saturday wedding on Mammoth Mountain. The snow is sparse up there, but the weather was incredible and I had the quite the day following them around the mountain in their wedding gear.
