The Charity Wedding Blog’s Feature on Minaret Photography and Mike and Steph’s Mono Lake Trash the Dress Session

Thanks to Mike and Steph, our fearless Mammoth Mountain Memorial Day wedding couple, a series of Minaret Photography images are being featured on the popular blogs The Charity Wedding  and Mammoth’s own Mountainside Bride today.

Every Friday the blog’s publisher, Alicia, runs a series of intriguing Trash the Dress images with her Trash the Dress Friday feature. Today is our day and we couldn’t be more excited for the opportunity.

We’re proud of these images and I think Mike and Steph were stoked with the final product as well. The clouds and evening sunset all came together to make for some incredible colors and diffuse light.

Here’s a quick look at Alicia’s thoughts on the images:

“First and foremost it has to be one of the most amazing shoots I have ever seen. The scenery is straight out of a dream. The shoot takes place at Mono Lake in California. The jagged rock formations in the middle of the gorgeous blue lake is amazing enough as it is but throw in a lovely bride in her gown and you have one stunning shoot!”

That’s all for now. We’re shooting Jeremy and Lizzie’s wedding tomorrow at Wolf Run Golf Club in Reno which should be a blast. Check in Tuesday for the first images from that.
