Lawrence and Kirsten’s wedding venue, The Twenty Mile House near Quincy, California, was an awesome surprise for us this summer.
It’s a low-key spot hidden in a verdant West-side forest along the Feather River. It’s becoming a popular wedding destination for Reno and Bay Area couples and it’s clear to see why they are hosting weddings every weekend there.
The historic main building, dedicated by the Clampers in 1969, housed many of the wedding’s guests for the weekend. Several cabins surrounded the building and also served as lodging for Lawrence and Kirsten’s friends and family.
Josh covered more from the day in his post here, but I thought it was worth mentioning the venue since it was undoubtedly one of the coolest spots we shot this year. It was rural, intimate and memorable, yet only about an hour-and-a-half from Reno and Sacramento.
That’s all for the week. We’ll be in Tahoe this weekend for Adam and Julia’s wedding and we’ll post from there soon. We’ll also have some from Chaz and Hillary’s wedding at The Grove in Reno up next week too. Have a great weekend.
