Like so many before them in 2020, a small, impromptu wedding at the end of a short hike was not in the cards for Adrienne & Cameron a few months ago.
But that’s what they got and, as per usual, I don’t think they would’ve gone back in time to change a thing.
They set up an incredible ceremony site at the back of Lake George in the Mammoth Lakes Basin in the shadow of the iconic Crystal Crag overlooking most of Mammoth.
After a brief-but-perfect ceremony at the lake, we split off from the family and friends to go chase sunsets above Mammoth Mountain with one of the last-smoke free evenings of the summer.
We caught INSANE light above the Minarets and the Ritter Range to the west, and then jammed back down to their incredible old family cabin in the Lakes Basin for a night cap (in kilts!).
Scroll below for a look at the day and some of the most dramatic light I’ve experienced in the Eastern Sierra. Thanks!
