Kristin and Josh’s wedding in August at Mammoth Mountain’s Forest Chapel and The Mill was an opportunity to pack as much into the day as possible and it was a testament to the amount of rad photos you can create at a wedding if everything is running efficiently.
We started at the Mammoth Mountain Inn for some shots in the hotel, then jumped on the gondola to the top of the ski resort for an incredible first look with perfect weather. From there we went down to the ceremony at Twin Lakes, close to Mammoth Lakes.
After the ceremony was finished we banged out some family portraits and then jammed back up to Mammoth Mountain for the grand entrance and some schmoozing before hitting Minaret Vista, beyond MM’s main lodge, for an incredible sunset.
From the there we rallied back to The Mill for dinner and then the real fun began. These guys owned the dance floor, outdoors on the most spectacular night I’ve ever experienced at that venue, as well as anybody I’ve seen all summer.
The day redefined what is possible for me and was the template for couples that want to get it all in while still enjoying plenty of time with their guests.
Kristin and Josh, ya’ll killed it.
