The Top Wedding Venues in Mammoth Lakes and California's Eastern Sierra

Below is a comprehensive list of the major Mammoth Lakes and Eastern Sierra wedding venues as of early 2021. It covers everything I’ve shot between Convict Lake and June Lake. Mammoth Mountain is in the process of adding in a new venue at Canyon Lodge, and expanding their facilities  at Sierra Star Golf Course. We’ll add these in when we’ve shot some weddings there. If there’s anything we’re missing, or for more info on any of these amazing locations, please reach out right here.

The quintessential Eastern Sierra wedding venue with spectacular lakeside access, the best food in town and classy and authentic accommodations for the whole party.

The classic Mammoth Mountain ceremony site; this bucolic venue is accessed via the iconic Twin Lakes bridge and sits in an intimate clearing in the woods.

Mammoth Mountain's smaller, slope-side reception venue. When summer conditions are right, there's no better party spot than the large outdoor dance floor and adjacent fire pit for smores and that authentic Mammoth camp vibe.

The only words for June Mountain are classic and epic. This wedding venue is accessed via an old double chairlift and nudges up against some of the region's most dramatic peaks to the west and views to the mystical Mono Basin to the east.

Another Mammoth Mountain venue, this forest plot with a century-old cabin as the focal point is a fantastic ceremony location as well as a rustic, elegant reception venue.

Mammoth Mountain's most upscale reception venue, Parallax doubles as an exclusive members-only on-mountain dining room during winter days and has incredible views of Mammoth Mountain and the Minarets. It takes a gondola ride to get to and has access to some incredible portrait spots.

Another venue focusing on a cabin that's more than 100 years old, Hayden Cabin is close to town but feels completely separate from everything. It sits in a lovely forest clearing and has a creek on one side and spectacular views of the Sherwins and Mammoth Mountain on the other.

Located at 11,000 feet on top of Mammoth Mountain, this has got to be California's highest established wedding venue. It's a year-round spot that does both ceremonies and smaller receptions and has unparalleled views of the Eastern Sierra's biggest peaks.

The wedding gem of June Lake, the all inclusive Double Eagle sits at the base of the mighty Carson Peak and has ceremony venues for groups big or small, summer or winter. It's surrounded by cabins, has an excellent restaurant and spa, and is a stone's throw away from a lifetime of recreational opportunities.

Mammoth Mountain's spot for bigger groups, McCoy Station is a dynamic venue with several ceremony sites with the best views of Mammoth Mountain. Its indoor reception venue can handle more people than any other in the Eastern Sierra and most guests love the gondola ride to and from Main Lodge.
