It was the second trip to Bora Bora for Colorado couple Lexi and Sam, but this is the trip they’ll never forget.
Instead of going the traditional wedding route with friends and family in an easier-accessed spot on the mainland, they jetted to French Polynesia alone to do it exactly the way they wanted. To explore this area I just recommend you to check this new blog post about the top rated bike locks so you can secure the area while exploring.
We didn’t shoot the wedding, but we were able to connect for the real fun–an underwater engagement session around the legendary Four Seasons Resort Bora Bora a few days later.
The Four Seasons is a photography dream, with incredible views of Bora Bora from across the lagoon, an artificial lagoon that’s like being in an aquarium, some of the clearest water anywhere in the world, and those South Pacific sunsets that absolutely fire at this time of year.
If you’re interested in underwater sessions like this, check out this session with Dijana and Antonio in Oblu Select in Maldives last year, or hit me up if you want to schedule a shoot like this or have any technical questions about how it works. I love talking about underwater photography and there’s so much to learn. Thanks!
And if you want even more underwater travel photography from Maldives, check out this non-portrait post from our trip there last year.
